Asbestos Management – Surveys

Life Environmental is a UKAS accredited inspection body, No. 0340, to conduct asbestos surveys detailed in the HSE document HSG264 Asbestos: The Survey Guide.

Our experienced surveyors hold the BOHS P402 Certificate or equivalent and are fully trained and audited in line with operational procedures.

Management Surveys are used to help the duty holder manage asbestos within their properties in compliance with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012.

Refurbishment/Demolition Surveys are required for all works that may disturb the fabric of the building, including any maintenance or installation work. A demolition survey must be conducted where demolition is planned.

Re-inspection surveys provide scheduled re-assessment of asbestos containing materials to ensure ongoing compliance.
